Prague airport is one of the largest and most modern airports in Central and Eastern Europe with a very dynamic growth. The number of Prague airport passengers has doubled in last five years. The airport development hangs together with high demands on reliable and sophisticated telecommunication network and recording system of airport telephone communication.

ReDat solution for Siemens Hicom Trading and PBX Nortel

RETIA, a.s. has been chosen by Kapsch, s.r.o. for the implementation of the Prague Airport telecommunication network. The supply required replacing the existing system and supply for recording Siemens and Nortel technology. The required recording system had to provide a reliable recording of Siemens HiPath Trading and HiPath 4000. The next condition was recording of Nortel digital extensions without CTI integration.  This requirement was fulfilled due to a unique RETIA experience with proprietary as well as new digital extensions. ReDat offers to its user the required functionality and recording of common extension telephone sets as well as operators trading boards M2250 and tandem connecting of extension telephones.

Recording of Siemens Hicom Trading 

ReDat technological progressiveness, plain dealing and individual approach allowed finding the most suitable solution, which meets specific customer's requirements.

ReDat solution for Siemens Hicom Trading provides a reliable recording of voice communication and gets the additional information about the call, the called and the calling number, the number of used telephone line etc. In addition, ReDat system supports recording of interconnections and conference calls, which was one of the required parameters. Of course, ReDat provides maximum reliability and security of saved records. Archived data is protected by a system of access rights. The access is divided according to the access levels - user / administrator / service. The security of the system is attached also by other functions - the history of handling records and history of the system configuration.

The implementation has showed over again that ReDat solution is above the common providers of "serial" recording solutions. ReDat exceeds in customization and special features according to customer's requirements.

Utilities in case of recording unit failure

If any failure occurs, RETIA supplied a backup server (2nd piece of ReDat3 Recording Unit), which is equipped to backup any of cranky recording units. Transfer of data configuration from the faulty unit to the support unit is conveniently carried out within 20 minutes.
