Electric dispatch centre at Czech Railways is a modern dispatch centre, which controls dispatchers´ work, railway technological environment and some other electric equipment at railways. Its control system is designed for central dispatch control of electric technological entity at railways and for central supervisory control. This integrated tool enables monitoring and evaluating technological activity at 270 km (167 miles) of electrified railway-track, which is administrated by SŽDC, s.o. (railway administration) and SDC SEE Plzeň (electro engineering and energetic administration).

ReDat Recording System was integrated to provide central monitoring and central archiving of all voice communication at the dispatch centre. In this direction, the modern electric dispatch centre substantially increases the railway quality management and its reliability, continuity and efficiency. Additionally, it decreases energy saving of railway service.  

ReDat implementation

The customer requested to record all telephone calls of central dispatch centre. Therefore, we implemented ReDat3 Recording Unit, which ensures recording of analogue, digital and VoIP Ericsson telephony, ISDN2, radio stations and IP TouchCall dispatch terminal by TTC. ReDat3 Recording Unit is compatible with the most common telecommunication systems so it was not necessary to customize the solution. ReDat Recording System tools are ready to integrate as well as CTI servers, information systems and other user applications, which extend the system utility.

RETIA has also met customer's special requests to record GSM calls incl. signalling information and maintain the dispatchers´ mobility in their workplace. Both options were specially designed and customized by RETIA experts.

ReDat solution

To meet customer's special demands on recording, we installed ReDat3 Recording Unit, which provides recording interface for all above-mentioned types of telephony. Additionally, we implemented ReDat  Application Server, a functional shell, providing database of records, central access to records via web browser and other additional extra functions.  

Benefits

 Recording interactions at a central dispatch centre is ensured with ReDat Recording System, which enables monitoring complex telecommunication traffic at railways. ReDat Application Server provides users a comfortable and simple searching in the database of records, record playback in real time, statistics, complex history of records (incl. history of users' manipulation with records) and creating database of records. All data is safely stored without the possibility of modification. Meanwhile the records are ready to prompt playback in any case.  Access to records is secured with sophisticated system of access rights

ReDat3 Recording Unit beyond recording function provides other features - e.g. monitoring history and manipulation of records. Each record is completed with an alert, which reports about the device use and work with records.

You can integrate ReDat systems thanks to its sophisticated solution with dispatcher applications and integrate it into any complex supervisory network in the railway environment.
